Who are considered the greatest warriors in our worldwide military history?

I will (obviously) root for Spartans but i could be biased even though i believe they are in the top list of anyone who knows military history!



Anyways what's your choice and please give me some arguments to your claim,like historic facts,battles etc!Who are considered the greatest warriors in our worldwide military history?Leonidas and the Spartans - the legendary Battle of Thermopylae is still the epitome of how military tactics, battle equipment, taking advantage of surroundings, and patriotism can be combined to form the greatest warriors of all time.



I am no military person, but I do have military friends who say that the Battle of Thermopylae and the legend of Leonidas and the Spartans are still discussed in military academies to this day as the prime example of military excellence and unsurpassed warrior status.Who are considered the greatest warriors in our worldwide military history?
Alexander the Great, definitely. Alexander is regarded by most historians as “the greatest general in history”, and he never lost a single battle. He conquered the "known world" at the time.





Major difference between Genghis and Alexander, Alexander had no idea what he was getting into when he went from city to city completely wiping them out. Every time he came to a new place, it was like, Hey! Didn't know you guys existed! *slaughters them* You are with me now, on to the next completely strange place. Ghangis knew his surroundings and who he was going to be fighting against. Alexander went in blind and won them ALL. Also, yes geographically Genghis had a bigger empire, yes. But also consider, a lot of what he had was vast empty space, whereas Alexander went to populated city after populated city. Some of the biggest nations of the time. But in all fairness, its really hard to choose which one was better.
