What would be the advantages of having less money, but more manpower?Why are the richer countries more powerful military wise?More money = better weapons, better technology, better training, healthy soldiers, and you are able to fund studys to better your military even more. Man power is nothing if your guys are armed with nothing but WWI and pre-WWI weapons and have little training while they are facing an army with present day weapons and modern tactics. Man power is nothing if your soldiers are unhealthy because they have little to eat and you don't have money to by them medicine and keep them healthy.Why are the richer countries more powerful military wise?

its how much you alot for military spending. countries like former iraq north korea iran are basically 3rd world countries but with stronger army than say netherlands belgium or spain. but those countries spend more for their military so they got bigger. take north vietnam during vietnam war, they were doing nothing economically but spent all time fighting the war. even now there are armed civilians in countries like somalia sierra leone etc compare that to rich unarmed civilians in europe or america. so its not only about being rich but about investing in weapons.
