How do I find out if my husband is entitled to military benefits?

I am married 15 years now; he was in the military back in vietnam but only was in a short time How do I find out if he is entitled????

ThanksHow do I find out if my husband is entitled to military benefits? My first question to you and your husband is what is his health like? If he's a diabetic, ever had prostate cancer, lung cancer, or other types of cancer the can be qualified for Service-Connection for these issues because of exposure to Agent Orange. Years ago the VA conceded the fact that if a Veteran had Vietnam soil under their feet then they were exposed to Agent Orange and there are 11 presumptive medical conditions associated with it.

After that he's entitled to apply for VA Loan Guarantees, Head/Foot stone upon burial, and a lot more that I can't even put on here. I'm going to guess you're pretty savvy on the computer, so go to www.va.gov and you can find most any answer to any question you might have. If you don't then please contact your closest State Veterans Commission or VA facility and request to speak to a benefits counselor. How do I find out if my husband is entitled to military benefits?
Are you still married? If so find his DD-214 and take it to the Veterans rep in the county you live in they will let you know + take him.

Call the Veterans Rep in your county they should be able to tell you if you should go in to talk. As far as the GI Bill it may have expired by now the bill has changed many times since then. How do I find out if my husband is entitled to military benefits? He's not, except possibly for VA hospital care and burial in a national cemetery. But if you are thinking of some kind of payment, he's not.How do I find out if my husband is entitled to military benefits?
You could contact your local VA and see what they have to say. Are you talking like medical and what not for benefits?? If that is the case then I believe he would have had to serve the full 20 yrs to have access to those now. But i could be wrong the VA would know for sure. How do I find out if my husband is entitled to military benefits?Contact the VA they will be the best source for info.... he could be eligible for money/medical care from the VA. It will depend on injuries and rating. How do I find out if my husband is entitled to military benefits?
the GI Bill expired ten years after he got out. as a veteran, he is entitled to nothing else except through the VA. and those will be limited.
