Why does the military put importance on bed wetting when signing up?

It's a big deal if you have history of bed wetting in the military? Why would that be? Why do they kick ya out for it or dont let you in in the first place? Why does the military put importance on bed wetting when signing up?Well, for one thing bedwetting is an indication of a lot of different problems, both physical and psychological problems. Also, if you are currently wetting the bed then that is obviously going to be a huge issue while living in a communal environment.

Of course, lots of people wet the bed growing up (especially boys), but I'm sure the history they're looking for is bedwetting passed a normal age, like 7 or something, where it may indicate a larger issue.

Interestingly, serial killers tend to be bed wetters. Why does the military put importance on bed wetting when signing up?I'm not going to pretend to know the exact reason the military asks about it but a good reason may be that if you're still wetting the bed after you're 12 you probably have some psycological problems. In addition to that, it's not very hygenic if you're wetting your sleeping bag in a combat zone and you have to sleep in it because you don't have any way to clean it.
