So what is worse: the tyrannical drinking age or the tyrannical mandatory military service? What is worse: a drinking age of 21 or mandatory military conscription at 18?I think they either need to raise the minimum age to join the military here to 21, or let them drink at 18.
Being old enough to DIE but not drink is more than a tad silly.
But, to answer the question, mandatory military conscriptionWhat is worse: a drinking age of 21 or mandatory military conscription at 18?I think it is pretty obvious that conscription is worse. Being prohibited to drink doesn't really put your life in danger. More freedom is taken away if you are conscripted.
