What are the reprocussions of allowing open homosexuals in the military?

Do you think gay men will get beat up in their barracks? Will superior officers and NCOs give them the worse details and poor evaluations (even though using other reasons than being gay for the poor evaluations)? I think it would be great if everyone was treated equally, but I'm not sure our military is ready for this change. Thoughts? What are the reprocussions of allowing open homosexuals in the military?I think that officers would be above that kind of thing, but I think that there could be some isolated cases of violence. I think just with the atmosphere and all the testosterone, one homophobe could do a lot of damage. What are the reprocussions of allowing open homosexuals in the military?
if you were allowed to be openly gay in the military they would not only get beat up but homophobic officers or even comrades would not want to be near them there fore not protecting there gay comrades. our military is not ready because they fear of the backlashes of thisWhat are the reprocussions of allowing open homosexuals in the military?I doubt it'll be as bad as you see it. Most people know who is gay in their units and people who were once against gays in the military find out this cool guy they knew is gay start rethinking their position. What are the reprocussions of allowing open homosexuals in the military?
You will know who to put on point and not ask to cover your rear. (In other words, they will be discriminated against in non obvious ways.)What are the reprocussions of allowing open homosexuals in the military? We honestly don't care about homosexuality in the military, because it's already there. Everyone knows who the gays are, they don't have to admit to it. Nobody evaluates them differently, nobody beats them up. The only people we beat up are slow idiots who don't motivate themselves and always cause problems, and liberals (all of which fall into that first category anyway). Congress is what created the homosexual exclusion policies, not the military. What are the reprocussions of allowing open homosexuals in the military?
I think it needs to be upon the disgression of the individual and their peers, I had a first line leader that was gay and everyone under that person was fine with it, the individual never made and outlashes or flamboyant remarks, we were all soldiers first. this individual took their job very seriously, and when it came to sex, there was no boy, girl, gay straight, we were soldiers first.

Although, I feel that some that crave the attention that will say their gay to get any kind of attention. will be the ones that find themselves in a cage with a mad bull, when they come across the Macho, domanant male type.
