Can and how can you become a psychologist for the military without joining?

I'm a psychology major trying to figure out my exact route. I have deep connection to the military and very passionate about our soldiers. Im at the point needing to really get on the right course. Can and how can you become a psychologist for the military without joining?Get a job at the VA Hospital as a Psychologist.

There is one in the Capital of your state and probably a smaller one in every decently sized city in your state.

From there you will make connections that will give you opportunities to move to other parts of the military, outside of the VA.

Don't know how, but I know you can :) Sorry... there's always civilian Psychologists on US military installations, even overseas. If you get the chance to serve as a civilian on an overseas base, go for it! Good luck! Can and how can you become a psychologist for the military without joining?Hat is correct, but as far as your education goes, you need to plan on getting your PhD. The civilian psychologists who are contracted to provide care to troops have their Ph Ds. A Bachelor's or even a Master's degree isn't enough. Can and how can you become a psychologist for the military without joining?
Your more than likely going to be required to have a masters degree. to work for the VA, it would help greatly if you have prior military experience. there gonna check your record, so you better be cleanCan and how can you become a psychologist for the military without joining?http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Can+and+how+can+you鈥?/a>Can and how can you become a psychologist for the military without joining?
It is my understanding that the military does not contract with private doctors or psychologists to treat military personnel.
