How valuable is a graduate with a BS in both electrical and computer engineering to the military?

I want to join the military after I graduate and I do not know simply what kind of jobs I would be eligible for in the military. When I look up MOS's, they are vague and few. I also want to make sure that I will be able to get a job post military should I not re-sign.How valuable is a graduate with a BS in both electrical and computer engineering to the military? Why on earth would you want to deal with all of the beaureaucratic B.S. of the military if you had a bachelor's in engineering?

You could take your pick of companies to work for and live anywhere you wanted since there would be companies all over the US that would be interested in hiring you.

If I had a B.S. in any kind of engineering the military would be pretty low on my list of people who I'd want to work for. No offense to the people involved, but have you been paying attention to the news lately? Do you have any idea how f%26amp;%26amp;%26amp;ed up the US government is?How valuable is a graduate with a BS in both electrical and computer engineering to the military?Very valuable. You qualify for a comission as an officer in intelligence, logistics and internet technology (these encompass a wide variety of duties from basic IT structuring around bases to full on computer engineering ops for ships, aircraft and other military vehicles). As an officer you have a wide range of responsibilities on top of your chosen field of interest. But your college degree is pretty in demand. Although, pay is relatively the same for everyone at the same grade. If you kick *** in your basic training and A-school, you'll have first pick for orders. Go Navy if you want to travel. Don't worry about post job opps. With a military background and those degrees you'll have the pick of the litter for jobs, bad economy or not. Good luck brother. How valuable is a graduate with a BS in both electrical and computer engineering to the military?I spent 30 years working for the Department of the Navy as an Electrical Engineer. I worked as a civilian. There are both military and civilian jobs in DON.that you will qualify for.
