How often do you have to take the life of someone in the military?

Depending the military branch, how often do you take the life of someone? Do you have any experience with this? Do they train to overcome this? Are people cold hearted in the military? How often do you have to take the life of someone in the military?Depends on your MOS. I was a printer, do you think someone who works on a press is going to see combat???How often do you have to take the life of someone in the military?
I'm really not sure what your getting at but all service men and woman have extensive training in the armed forces. If your talking about something like the Fort Hood shooting in 2009, that was just one crazy guy who obviously has issues who went on a rampage. In general, they don't aim to kill or hurt one another. A guy might accidentally shoot someone if they get in the way or something causes them to miss a target but they don't try to hurt each other. As for my personal experiences, my boyfriend is in the air force and he's good friends with a lot of the people in his squadron. When he's been deployed to Iraq he's told me great stories of them bonding and sharing stuff loved ones had sent over like snacks and other stuff. But the fact is there are cold hearted people everywhere but in my experience I've heard guys in the military stick together and sometimes even make life friends. How often do you have to take the life of someone in the military? Not very often. Most people, on a ratio of 9:1 apprx, are in support roles and don't have to see actual combat. If you are thinking about joining, you can ask for a support role, which won't require going to combat. They won't train you to become cold hearted, and most people, almost all, have feelings and do show sympathy for those they have to kill. None of us ever want to kill, we only do so as a last resort in order to keep our country safe. They will not train us to overcome or not have such emotions. They won't train us to be cold hearted. Rather, they'll train us to control our emotions so they don't overcome is
The vast majority of people in the military never have to kill anyone. Even the people whose job directly involves combat (e.g. infantry) rarely actually kill someone.

That's not to say you're not supposed to be prepared for that situation, though. How often do you have to take the life of someone in the military?I was in the Air Force. I never had to kill anyone, but I am SURE I was stationed with a few people who have. AFTER something happens, they teach you how to cope. Maybe. People aren't really cold hearted, some are just selfish. How often do you have to take the life of someone in the military?
