What are the requirements of joining the British military and what does the medical involve?

I am interested in joining the British military, but cant find any specific info on the requirements or the medical.

i am slightly overweight but working pretty hard on it, but want to enroll pretty soon, would they kick my *** into shape or tell me to wait till i meet a certain requirement?

Regular Army entry requirements

Regular Army Soldier Officer

Age 16-33
