The entire US military will see a 1.9% pay raise in 2011; the smallest in almost 50 years. This latest recession was deflationary. 1. Obama doesn't set that stuff, congress does. You conservatives really need to learn the difference between the branches of government.



2. We're in a recession. That is a much higher pay raise than the public is getting. Adjusted for inflation, it's quite generous.Why is Obama (the Commander in Chief) going to allow the smallest military pay raise in a generation?
And were they not under paid before our president took office? And have you never heard about

So saying, Congress determines the actual pay raise, doesn't mean anything.



Hopefully Congress will tell Obama hes nuts and we are not gonna give the military the smallest pay raise in 50 years.



But it is 100% on Obama, that he only ask for a 1.9% pay raise in his 2012 Defense Budget.



Just as the pay gap between the military and civilians grew from 4% to 12% under Clinton, because he didn't want to give the military pay raises.



It seems Obama is following in the same liberal footsteps.
